Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Japanese Lantern

Hello all!

I love Minecraft Lanterns, they are such a great lighting item, and I think as well as just a normal lantern, Minecraft should have several types, and one of them I think could be a Japanese Lantern.

The Japanese Lantern would be one block tall, would be probably the same width as a normal lantern, and would be made with either stone or diorite (perhaps there could be several types of Japanese Lantern, like with wood items).

The crafting recipe would probably be this (For a stone version; I will try my best to describe the Crafting Layout):

Top Row, Middle Square: Stone Slab

Middle Row, Middle Square: Lantern or Torch

Bottom Row, Middle Square: Stone Block or Two Stone Slabs on the Far Left and the Far Right

I think these Lanterns would be fantastic for anyone wanting to build a Japanese World or House, and would simply be a beautiful light source

    They could be called Stone Lanterns, and then you could have Diorite Lanterns, Granite Lanterns, and so on
