Obsidian Ore

There should be a certain type of ore only found in a lush cave, that has a 50% chance of dropping an obsidian shard, a 25% chance of dropping the block (which can be smelted into a stone block), and a 25% chance of dropping nothing. Then, combining 9 of them in a crafting table can turn them into obsidian, and combining an arrow and a shard could turn it into an obsidian arrow, which deals double the damage.
