The Floodlight (a new use for Amethyst for better lighting!)

The floodlight would be crafted using iron, glass and amethyst crystal, making a see through dark purple block, using this block you can place it on top of a torch, lantern, anything that produces light

the floodlight will then boost that light source 3-5X making lighting up a new area so much easier! and you wont need so many ugly torches around

  Hear me out instead of making it brighter it should extend the range of each brightness level by 3-5x. Because obviously at some point if it gets bright it make its an eyesore.
