Autumn Forest, Cherry Blossom Forest and other leaf-related ideas

As a builder, I often have to build ugly, clunky clusters of wool, glass and other blocks that'd imitate autumn leaves or cherry blossoms
I propose that we'd finally get our leaf-based dreams come true, along with new wood suggestions (the later could be dismissed and just replaced with wood we already have in the game)

Autumn Forest
An uncommon variant of forest biome that houses three types of trees, for red, orange and yellow leaves. The custom woods would give less vibrant, more dulled out version of birch, oak and spruce wood (hex codes for suggested colors are #CAC69E, #BDB18C and #877560). The biome itself would be more toned, a bit melancholic or even gloomy. The pumpkins would also show up more frequently there. The biome would have an effect similar to basalt deltas, where there'd fall autumn leaves from the sky

Cherry Blossom Forest
An uncommon variant of plains biome that houses the cherry blossom tree. It'd have universally pink leaves. The wood color would be between crimson and dark oak wood (hex code #8A4352) and the doors would have a theme similar to japanese shogi (a bit like birch door, but with dark red outline). The biome would be more vibrant. The grass would be the same color as jungle's. Just like the previous one, it'd have an effect of cherrry blossoms falling

  • Hedges
    Basically leaf walls. Would be so great for building
  • Leaf layers
    I actually have two ideas for those. Either making them like carpets, or have them stack like snow

    I agree, we need more leaf varieties other than green. Brown wilted leaves and cherry blossom leaves would look great in builds and biomes!

    I absolutely agree, pink and white cherry blossom leaves and red, orange, yellow, and brown autumn leaves would be wonderful to be able to build with! We really can’t achieve the look of seasons with existing blocks except on a massive scale. Hedges would be wonderful as well because when building at player scale leaf blocks look too “chunky” as hedges, especially when using stone walls anywhere nearby. Leaf layers/leaf carpets would be beautiful for decoration, too, currently I use a leaf block in the ground and it only kind of works in dim lighting when surrounded by moss blocks, otherwise it’s very obviously not realistic because it looks like you should fall through.

    I'm rather tired of relying on mods to make autumn trees, or doing them individually. I've been hoping for autumn trees for years.

    Love the idea of a leaf carpet layer.
