New type of geodes

I was thinking new types of geodes besides Amethyst. Because there is literally nothing new about amethyst, except for making tinted glass and spyglass. Why don't we have added somthing new for geode, like Quartz , Calcite , Citrine , and Agate. Or maybe ruby, Sapphire, topaz. Each of them gives you crafting recipes. Not armor and tools, but diffrent uses instead. Like maybe crafting new enchantments, new blocks, new uses.
