Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).
a pickaxe would work like the old swords from pre combat update, but less damage. they would lose 3 points of durability per attack. then it would draw in players who play on pre combat updates to avoid the new combat system so they can enjoy the new features.
