The white part of amethyst is quartz and the outer part is usually basalt. Calling them calcite and tuff is incorrect. Please rename them. There's quartz and basalt in the nether but I don't see why there can't be 2 versions of them. I know this game isn't the most realistic but there's really no excuse to spread misinformation like this, especially when many kids are learning about geology through minecraft. This really gets on my nerves as it's such an obvious mistake for me because I know a bit about gemstones, but many people will learn it incorrectly. There's already a post about this but it's been a month since it was posted and the issue is still not fixed.
