Multiplayer on Java

There should be a way to make it much easier than having to use 3rd party server makers, that you need to either pay money or the free ones (that kinda suck). The idea of mine is, there should be a way to friend players in Minecraft Java. Then you can invite them. OR another idea is, have a tab on multiplayer called, "Create" and you can create a server that has an ID and you give it to your friend or anyone you want to play with.

    yea I agree. Its very hard to just simply play with your friends on Java.

    I sure hope they see this it's too much of a hassle and it's a shame considering how good a game minecraft is

    Excellent idea me and my son were just saying this it's an issue that you can't play without playing you know and the ones you can are cheesy they glitch amd I'd like to be able to give. AAserveri.d to anyone I want to play wit hso it's easier

    I agree but the whole pay money thing is a no-no. I think we should only pay to make them. I honestly feel like they should allow people to make a server for free as long as it limits to like 5 players and they limit one per person. Then after that they can charge extra for more ram/spaces/servers.

    I agree, this issue needs way more votes. I feel like they should implement a system similar to Bedrock, where it is tightly integrated with your Xbox account, making it easy for your friends to find you. Or, they could make a separate system for Java only to keep your Xbox and Minecraft friends separate. Either way, I really hope this is a feature that gets added in the near future, as it seems Microsoft are favoring Bedrock as of right now with their Marketplace, Multiplayer, and Featured Servers.

    Just have it set up the same way bedrock is with the friends tab in the menu.
