Seeds (more uses)

Flower Seeds - When broken, flowers have a chance of dropping themselves (like normal) or flower seeds. The types of flowers grown depend on the biome. All flowers can be grown in every biome, but different biomes offer higher probability of different flowers. 

Sunflower Seeds - Sunflowers give sunflower seeds when put in a crafting table. These are consumable and plantable like carrots and potatoes.

Bird Seed - New food for breeding parrots and chickens. Not consumable by the player. Crafted in a crafting table with either 5 wheat seeds or 1 of each beetroot, pumpkin, melon, wheat, and sunflower. 

I think this would be a fun update for several reasons. Not only would it add an extra dimension to flowers, but it would also give a use for all the extra seeds player accumulate (other than composting for bone meal).
