Mountains need a lot of treatment just as so the caves because of blandness.
Looks: This biome would be at the base of the mountain creeping up towards the peak and would be a biome that would only spawn at the edge of mountains. This biome would be dense with crabapple trees deep red leaf's spread throughout and leaf particles floating in the air slowly falling and moving in a false wind with a light creamy brown type of dirt layering the ground and leaf carpets that would hold two to three red leaf's with sounds of nearby woodpeckers and the footsteps of distant fawn.
Mobs: Two mobs would spawn here those being fawn/deer and woodpeckers. Woodpeckers would be neutral mobs that would rest on the branches of the crabapple trees and would carved blocks similar to the bee nests to house three woodpeckers. These creatures would only attack when they feel their home is in danger or is attacked dealing half a heart of damage per 1/2 second. Deer would be almost always passive unless it is born with a animal state of buck and they would roam in packs of 4 - 6 and would add a new potion item called deer fur which would be attained when a deer runs. It could be crafted into a potion of endurance which would make damage to the player decrease but all the damage lost at the end would be double and hurt the player with the original damage when the potion runs out.
Purpose: This would help both the building and pvp play-styles and would be overall great.
