***This will not affect the current chunks of each stone block in normal caves, just increases the amount in these specific caves***
These stone blocks should have each a different biome to correlate to the stone variants much like the deep dark and its new stone variant:
Andesite can generate in Collapsible Caves which are a very hazardous but rewarding biome. The ceilings of these caves types are layered with gravel. The andesite would fit the color palette well and give a whole new texture to this grainy cave. This biome would have higher chances to generate valuable resources to make the risk of mining here more worth it. (this can also generate under desert biomes and replace andesite with sandstone and gravel with sand). This can add more strategy to mining to acquire the resources.
Diorite can generate in Chilly/ Frozen Caves with different types of ice blocks and maybe even icicles which look like blue variants of dripstone points. There can be powder snow traps that make the player fall through into deeper caves and even the stray mobs generate here. This would give nice contrast and variation to the underground.
Granite can generate in Prehistoric/Ancient Caves with exposed fossils and coal as the main resource in these cave. maybe jutting out also there is petrified wood that makes a underground forest with large oak trees with no leaves. This would add the pillar about underground marvel. and even new types of mushrooms to find that grow on the sides of the trees
