We've all placed a torch to mark our areas, gone adventuring, and come back to find a lava pool instead of our house, right? No? Just me? Okay... anyway, Christmas Lights would add a fun, unmistakable way to find your house. There would be 2 different crafting recipes; one for colored lights, one for white lights.
Legend: S = string, R = redstone, G = glass pane

This recipe calls for Glass Panes. The difference between colored lights and white lights is, white lights use normal glass panes, while colored lights use 1 red pane, 1 yellow pane, 1 blue pane, 1 green pane, and 1 pink pane. This makes creating colored lights kind of a hassle, I know. But it'll be worth it! Each recipe gives you 9 Lights, which you can connect to each other the same way you connect String in a tripwire. The difference is, Christmas Lights can be put onto any side of a block, rather than just the top, so you can frame a doorway with them, or something like that.
