50 blocks area in wich ghasts can't spawn

Could you please put a 50 block area around the nether portals where ghasts can't spawn? Jesus, every time I enter the nether there is a cursed ghast ready to kill me with his fireballs! Plus, it's also one of the hardest mobs to kill, both with the bow, and by throwing his balls back.
