I’ve been seeing a lot of end update posts recently saying how the end should be like the nether, but personally(biomes excluded) I think it should take a much different approach.
For example;
MOBS
The mobs of the end should NOT directly harm the player, much like the shulkers, they should have other means of harming the player, such as fall damage, fire damage or poison damage.
THEMES
The theme of the end update could take two drastic ways
- Theme 1, as the nether is a literal hell scape, make the end more heavenly (this could explain the end credits but not to the point of ruining the creativity) kind of like the hallow in terraria all mobs would be heavenly and have more of a calm vibe, as the mobs don’t damage the player directly (as stated under mobs) this would make it have a false sense of security.
- Theme 2, The end is a very alien place, this would make it a great idea to expand on plants biomes, structures all could effect how the exotic ecosystem of this world.
- Theme 3, flash back theme, make the player see mobs, hostile and passive, they have seen before, but in a dark and twisted end form
DRAGON FIGHT
Let’s be honest the dragon needs a bigger role, so let’s make the achievement more understandable the dragon is defeated and you have freed the end, so what happens? The end can expand. The main island gets over run with new mobs and plant life from the outer islands, so much can be done with the end, it’s one of the most alien dimensions! Be creative!
