    This would be cool.

    Building on your idea:

Also maybe you should be able to get this with using crystals from caves and cliffs. Like an upgraded enchanting table and anvil crafted with crystals.
That unlocks the ability to get new enchants and better levels to existing enchants. Tho the enchanting in this buffed enchantment table costs more.
This would be a good way to introduce this idea.

    Nerfing:

Instasmelt maybe to op so maybe make it like depth strider so it decreases the mining speed.
    Instasmelt I: 50% mining speed
    Instasmelt II: 75% mining speed
    Instasmelt III: 100% mining speed

    More enchants:

    Axe:
Chopping -Sharpness for a axe but slightly more damage, makes attack speed slower just like sharpness.
Disabling -Disables sheild for some amount of time also dealing more durability.

    Combat:
    Swift -Increases attack speed.

    Bow:
Snipe -Makes charging a bow take longer, but makes you able to shoot further and does more damage depending on distance.

    Helmet:
    Night Mode -Gives better vision.

    Chestplate:
Buff -While low on health it while make you stronger and take less damage, it does eat up your hunger abit while activated.
Stump(Can't think of a name) -Knocks anything back(without doing damage) that attacks you with mele.

    Boots:
Stealth -Makes shulk sensores not notice you, also makes your stepping quiter.
Strafe -Makes you faster while in air.

    Pickaxe:
Speed -Makes you get a speed boost when you break an ore.
Erosion -Breaks random block on break.
