Eyepatches or Like Item

Eyepatches have been said to be used to make one eye accustomed to the dark, so when they are switched to the other eye the user can see better in the dark. I would have this item be similar to the Turtle Shell in that it gives a potion effect, night vision in this case. What is different about this is that the power only activates once you have put it on and then taken it off.

Depending on what hand it is in before put on may determine what side it is on. Then, when it is moved to the other side or taken off, it gives you night vision for as long as you wore the eyepatch, up to a certain point.

While the fact that it takes up the helmet space may be enough to balance it, it could also have an overlay similar to the pumpkin that blocks half of the screen. Also, because it may be difficult to put on the eyepatch, it may be better if there is another item that is not an eyepatch but functions similarly. Still, if Pirate Illagers are added, I think this would go well with that
