Lacing Armor/Tools?

Ok so the Smithing Table is great and all but it feels underused. so what if...

>Leather/Wool Lacing to reduce vibrations/fall damage and keep you safe from the freezing effect. Fire damage increases.

>Iron Lacing to increase weight and defence, cutting Levitation speed. Knockback taken down, Fall damage up. can't swim while wearing.

>Redstone Laced Iron Boots. Activates Redstone upon contact.

>Slime Lacing to make you bounce like your on slime and slide down walls like honey blocks. Speed down.

>Rose Gold (Copper laced Gold) giving gold the same durability as iron while keeping speed increases.

>Amethyst Laced Helmet for optifine zoom at any time.

>Netherite Laced Shulker. a shulker box that doesn't burn in lava.
