Port the latest Java Minecraft Launcher to the Raspberry Pi

There are a lot of gamers playing Minecraft on the Raspberry Pi using the legacy 1.6.93 launcher. I believe the legacy launcher will not work with the new Microsoft Accounts being enforced.

Please can the latest Minecraft Launcher be ported to the Raspberry Pi.

    Please port to arm processors. Bought 2 Raspberry Pi 4 8GB in November for my kids (9 and 7 years old) to use for both remote schoolwork and play minecraft together. But due to the new Microsoft accounts they cannot play Minecraft on it. This is not how you reach out to a new generation and make them interested in technology and learn to play cooperative. Also in these times where we all sit at home this would have helped a lot but now it doesn't ...

    Please. It sucks enough that I have to have my personal MS account tied to my Mojang account and launchers getting broken is a /bad/ bonus.

    I have just bought a JAVA edition to run on my new RasPI... Same issue with Microsoft credentials not supported in the launcher. Please update the launcher!

    It's been a few months now and the new Microsoft account versions of Minecraft Java edition won't work on raspberry pi. PLEASE can you port this across already - or at least let us use third party launchers like MultiMC to solve the problem you have created for us rasp pi users

    There's an open source launcher, MultiMC, that's currently woorking on MS account support - it seems. If it does get added at some point, we'll theoretically be able to compile it on the pi!
