A new light source for new caves

In mincon they stated that there were glowing ores for preview purposes what if there was like a stone or mineral like strobe light or lights out that was pretty bright and could generate naturaly in any cave biome besides mesh caves and deep dark for obvious reasons

    how about Syenite ore, a real glowing rock? In Minecraft it could have various colors.

    that is a good idea the ore could be torchlight ore and you could craft a torchlight armour peice only one and it would give you like automatic torchs but it wouldnt place them you ur self would just give off light sorta like a glow and there could be an enchant to go with it like an enchant that is only compadable with that armour peiceand it would give you night vision also can we start something that make elytra give u armour points and stuff plz
