Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

De-oxidizing copper with shears

While preventing oxidization exists, the ability to revert copper back one stage in the process may be handy. This could be done with shears perhaps, or some other tool

    Maybe by using sponges, they don't get used much unless you build in oceans a lot. 

    The logic could be the sponge is scrubbing away the copper patina and revealing the unoxidized copper underneath.

    And the shears should also lose durability when you use them on copper, like if you use them to shear sheeps!

    I think the upcoming brush tool would make a lot more sense than shears.

    that just ruins the point of it oxidizing in the first place
