Why migrate?

Why migrate? I've had my account here on Mojang since 2011, and I like it that way. Why must we transfer our accounts over to some American mega-company? Why can't Minecraft just stay with Mojang, as it has always been? And from my viewpoint, you're only doing this to not only move all our data over to your databases and your account and boost your profits and all because it means we all need Microsoft accounts, but also because you're probably going to make the game oh-so child friendly, censoring bad words and all. Let the game be how it has been, the way we've loved it.

  Exactly, why Migrate. Plus you're ruining technik launchers etc. The hell, we can't even play with our friend who just bought minecraft, cuz its on god damn microduck account. Which isn't support and why would be even? It's working, leave that alone, are you trying to ruin another thing. Let ppl make their own decision if they want microduck account, or Mojang WHICH is supporting modding.
