Glowsqid effect

I was a little sad when the glowsqid won the mob voting but I've got an idea that could make it more interesting!

In the trailer for this sqid we saw that Jens and Agnes were hypnotised by it and couldn't look away. My thought was that maybe when you were to swim to close to it you would get the "HYPNOSIS EFFECT". This effect will confuse your airbubbles and they would rise and fall like a compass in the nether so you can no longer tell when you are going to drown.
