Minecraft Story Mode reboot

As a fan of Minecraft Story Mode, I would love to see it come back in some form. Because the pandemic has taken a toll on cinema production, a "movie-like" game would be a great way to fill in the gap. Though I think if MCSM comes back, it should be a reboot. Because I enjoy Minecraft, MCD, and MCSM, I want a Minecraft Story Mode that's:

  • Developed by Mojang Studios
  • Canon in the Minecraft universe

A reboot doesn't have to have the same story. Personally I'd like a different story rather than Season 3 because Season 2 didn't really make sense. Apparently the Admin is the bad guy because... he put some people in jail? In Minecraft Dungeons, the Arch Illager has done way worse deeds like capturing villagers, destroying villages, and trying to take over the world. Because of this, I'm confident that Mojang could make a better story, and they should.

    admin came from nowhere and it is ok, that he is not destroying anything. In mcd hero knew about Illager, but Jessie, didnt know about admin. Sorry for bad english

    I prefer the reboot to have the zelda style gameplay.
    I am not convinced by "games" that are movies or series.

    We already have a "zelda style" game called Minecraft Dungeons though.

    I don't think I can trust Mojang Studios to develop any Minecraft Story Mode, that's not their thing

    I think it should be continued from sezanan 3. Scenarios can be brought in where Reuben comes back. We know that when I die in the world of minecraft we are reborn jesse reuben can find him in the world of minecraft.
