Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

different types of coal & coal blocks

there should be different types of coal at different y-levels; 

  • anthracite at y-level 8 and below, found as blocks of coal, gives 2 coal blocks
  • bituminous at y-level 16 and below, found as blocks of coal, gives 1 coal block
  • sub-bituminous at y-level 36-52, found as coal ore, gives 4-6 coal
  • lignite at y-level >52, found as coal ore, gives 2 coal

1 coal block = 9 coal

as a result, coal has to be worse at smelting in a furnace and must be more useful

if possible, let there be a chance of getting blindness when mining coal
