Strider Ideas

I noticed that Strider legs do not turn blue when on land, and this should be fixed. Also, their legs look as if they are charred, leading me to believe that charring on Striders is the same as callouses. This gave me the idea that whenever Striders breed the baby would appear standing on their heads. The babies would not have charred legs and would therefore not yet be able to walk on lava (without being hurt at least). Striders would carry their babies over to Magma Beaches where they would get off and walk around, eventually developing the charring that enables them to walk on lava. Besides adding cool behavior, this would also make it easier for players to get Striders as they won't always be hanging out in the middle of a lava lake.

    Striders should also have a sort of defense mechanism. Because they were sort of designed after frogs, they could have a tongue that shoots out and hits the player. I think they would use this when their baby gets hurt while on the Magma Beaches

    Baby and Adult Striders should also look different. Baby Striders would be less wrinkly, have a less-prominent frown, and possibly have more hair. They would also be faster
