Finding via a filter would be more beneficial, but sorting by name etc could be quite handy.

Yes please. I was thinking naming items, but anything helpful for finding items that belong in builds. Its tedious when all your robes look the same.

it could let you prioritize an item if you use it a lot and it will always be at the top of the list

Would love to see sorting implementations by Name (Alphabetical), Power, Name Rarity Grouping (Alphabetical sorting but Common/Rares are paired before and with their Unique and Special Event variants also sorted in Alphabetical order. Ie:

Axe Firebrand Highland Axe Battlestaff Battlestaff of Terror Growing Staff Claymore Broadsword Great Axeblade

    )

Having sorting mechanisms will assist in the navigation of the inventory on all platforms, not just on console as Flottdog shared.

This is a much needed feature for Dungeons. I asked my wife, what's your most powerful armor and she's like 'I'll let you know in 30 min'

    +1 for sorting. Please.

One of the most time-consuming tasks is finding duplicate items to make sure I keep the best one, and scrolling up and down dragging similar items together is not a fun part of the game, it's tedious admin.

I would be happy with Newest, Alphabetical, and Level, just three little buttons that affect the listing order of all of the inventory tabs.

It would also be super helpful also have a sort by power level. That way you can quickly determine which artifacts are your highest level items without scrolling through 80 items.

I had been away for several months until the new DLC dropped in late February, & I got the new season pass. It's great!

    ~~BUT~~

I'm finding I'm spending a lot of time hunting in the inventory for the right item with the right power level so I can maximize entering/exiting levels. I am also trying to keep enough gear so I can have a little of everything for Ancient Hunt runes, & it's really hard when there's no rhyme or reason to the sorting. That's a major drag!

Here's some ideas, all within the existing gear-type tabbed pages:

    1. Sorting! let me sort items by last equipped (easy way to keep track of important items you wind up using a lot), sort by newest acquired, rarity, power, # of enchantment slots, name, attribute (speed ammo range etc)

    2. Filters! Filter by category (souls yes/no, others?), available enchantments, Ancient Hunt runes

    3. Favorites! Prevent deletion, pin items. Dare I suggest gear sets?

    4. Visibility: somehow inspect enchant options for an enchanted gear without removing the enchants at the Blacksmith, toggle Ancient Hunt rune visibility

In summary, we now have a 300 item inventory & we are now saving gear for Ancient Hunts we wouldn't have otherwise makes inventory management more important than ever! Even "just" the ability to sort by last equipped, by name, & time acquired would be such a quality of life improvement.

TL;DR I shouldn't have to spend that much time looking for a specific item & filters/sorts would help out a lot!

    Thanks for a great game!

Surprised this hasn't been implemented yet, management is incredibly annoying with all the items scattered around randomly.

This is such a standard thing to have in games with a lot of rotating loot with a power grind on top. This should have been there from day 1. As all here have already pointed out Power, alphabetical, favorite items and last used  (among others) are some of the most useful ways to cut down the unnecessary time of checking for items with the right power level.

Our family loves MC Dungeons! We really enjoy the different levels, especially the Ancient Hunts and special/seasonal challenges.  PLEASE implement an inventory sorting mechanism! That would make cleaning up the inventory much more efficient ("how many Battle Robes do I have, and which do I want to keep?"), as well as selecting items for Ancient Hunt sacrifices, upgrading at the Blacksmith, or just headed out into a level. Sorting alphabetically, by power, or commonly-used would be tremendous.  Having an option for inventory combinations (ie, soul-focused outfit, lightening-focused outfit, etc), would be a great asset also.  Thanks for such a fun game!

I think besides sorting, naming and/or labeling items could be a great way to be able to switch between different builds without having to scroll through the whole inventory (ps4 at least).
