This block would be crafted with two hay bales. A Hay stack can also be crafted back into bales. It would look like a lump of hay which can be stacked to make a two tall hay stack. If placed in a 2×2×2 shape they will combine to make a large haystack. You can pass through it but mobs will not try to pathfind through it and even try to get out of it. This could be used as a hiding place if you are being cased by mobs or players since it could also hide name tags. Being inside the hay stack would be like standing in a powdered snow block but there will be a hole in front of you that only you can see so that you can see outside. Hay stacks don't slow the player down very much when running through it but it will reduce fall damage similar to hay bales (falling and running through it create hay particle effects). Breaking hay stacks with you bare hands drops 18 wheat but breaking it with a hoe drops the block itself.
This block would a great addition not only for its ability to use it as a hiding spot, a way to break your fall or way to store wheat in even less space but it also serves as a way to add hay to animal pens without them using it as a way to escape. It could also be used as a way to make a nest or as a scruffy hay roof.
