Change to picking flowers in Minecraft

There is a fabric 1.16 MOD that is called gentle picking that allows the player to pick flowers by right clicking them which in my opinion is a bit more enjoyable than the current way flower picking is implemented. Is there a chance that 1.17 or perhaps 1.18 could bring this feature to vanilla Minecraft? I hope my feedback was understandable :)

    The truth friend I really like your idea, since I am the type of player who saves flowers for dyes and collecting is something important, if you could add more animations to this little action it would be a very good change in my opinion in the environment player interaction. :)

    ... maybe just changing the flower breaking sound, it would make it a lot more nice-sounding
