Shields Variety and Enchantments for Shields

I think the lack of shields variety and enchantments is a bit strange.

There should be shields for each ore, it would give more durability for each upgrade. There should also be enchantments to go along with it, like one that allows you to block a extra hit, or maybe one that allows you to attack while blocking but at a reduced attack damage, or one that allows to deflect Ghast's fire balls and other projectiles. Just some ideas I had.

I think Shields are under used in the game, especially with the potential that have to be a really good item in combat.
