Amethyst Tools

The reason I want amethyst tools because amethyst is useless. I would love for minecraft to add amethyst tools. It would be 1.3 times stronger than netherite and diamond.

  I think amethyst tools and armor would be amazing. 

  However, depending on how rare amethyst geodes are, I feel like having it be stronger than netherite is just a little overpowered. Maybe it should just be a little stronger than diamond, but not last as long (or perhaps the other way around) Although, it might be that Mojang has plans for amethyst unknown to us. In any case it would be so cool just to walk around in amethysts, wouldn't it?

  Sorry to put you down but Amethyst isn't rare at all. This would just wholly ruin the armor tree because now sense Amethyst (Which are farmable and aren't rare at all) would destroy everything and make most of the armor useless. Netherite provided a little small advantage from diamond armor with knockback resistance and is also really really rare. Amethyst is a common block and is now in this update stupid overpowered because they're common and now stronger than netherite.
