A thrown trident should break sponge (Like dripstone stalactite)

Sponges are an expensive block, but their use is hampered by the difficulty of retrieving the sponge after it has sucked up all the water, and you can no longer reach where you placed it. You generally end up doing some sort of parkour to try and get to them - which seriously cuts into their effectiveness.

If you could stand under them, and knock them off with your trident, this would greatly help with this, without really affecting any other element of gameplay. It would also make the trident more useful.

A further improvment might be if a trident with loyalty, pulled the spong back with it, into your inventory.
