Magic. Carpet

I think they should add magic carpets to minecraft I'm bored of only being able to fly with elytra in survival.

    Perhaps they don't allow you to fly, but they could be platforms that can rise or move and glide.

    They should be similar in design to the Wandering Trader Llamas, almost as if they wear the magic carpets. I wonder if llamas wearing a magic carpet will gain it's abilities. There could also just be different colored magic carpets

    It should be an enchantment for carpets only, maybe floating? 

    Level I- can glide like elytra, but 1/2 the speed

    Level II-can go up and down as well as glide, 2/3 the speed of elytra

    also if you take 3+damage, you have a 50% chance to fall off
