A command to apply the freezing effect (the effect powder snow gives you).

Maybe with duration or something? The fade in would be nice to keep. This would be cool for adventure maps, so you don't have to be submerged in powder snow for the effect. This would be very nice to have, so you don't have to get a mod/datapack to do this.

    I Am trying to make a datapack for climate temperatures and literally need this freezing effect. there are no work arounds ether.

    It would be nice to have the option to only aply the screen effect without the damage

    A thousand times yes from me. If possible, the same to be applied to the fire damage also. It's really weird that some effects(old and new!) are still completely hard coded into the game and untouchable via commands, especially when Data Packs as a concept exist.

    Yes please. This is so needed, do the same for fire as well! I don't understand why such basic elemental applications are still untouchable from the command menu.

    Yes this is a brilliant idea! I'm making a data pack that adds iceologers (the mob vote loser from 2020) but cant make the ice blocks freeze you!
