I play both Java and Bedrock minecraft, and I have noticed in Bedrock the hunger bar depletes significantly faster than it does in Java, especially when sprinting. It feels like you really can't sprint very far without your hunger bar depleting noticeably, to the point where it is at the games detriment as sprinting is how the majority of players get around. Obviously hunger is a very necessary game mechanic, but you seem to need to eat so often in Bedrock it becomes annoying and almost breaks the immersion of Minecraft. I would propose that the difference between the rate the hunger bar depletes at between when you're walking and sprinting is not as large, and as a whole hunger just decreases more slowly. I mostly just wanted to bring up this issue though, as I'm sure the developers would have much better ideas of how to realistically decrease the rate of hunger depletion whilst still making it an interesting mechanic to manage.
