  It seems super specific as opposed to fire prot or projectile protection, but I'm pretty sure this would be pretty well covered by regular protection. One thing I would see useful is having feather falling reduce damage taken from falling on stalagmites. Sure, it doesn't make much sense, but I can't really think of anything else. I'll have to test protection with this.

  But why? There is no science or folklore behind that and it’s completely random. If dripstone is based on limestone then this would make no sense as a protection tool except for blast protection, which we have, since lime stone is pretty weak.
