Dog Variety (and Dog Vests!)

While everyone enjoys having a cute little wolf dog as a pet, it isn't that unique besides its collar. I think minecraft should do what they did with the ocelots and have dogs and wolves separate, since they are clearly different, especially with their fur. Also, dogs should have variety in shapes, colors, and size. The dogs could even be other breeds, such as a husky or a terrier. Having a wiener dog inside minecraft would be the best, especially seeing it walk (Since they look like miniature hot dogs.) 

Players should also have a chance to make little vests made of wool for their dog since dogs need both protection and fashion, like the player. Players could have them in a variety of colors too and it should give dogs protection at least a bit.

    Different dog breeds should have different functions that mesh with villager and mob mechanics

    Dogs, in my opinion, are Minecraft best mob, besides horses. I would love to see them finally get an update.

    I think it would be cool to have vests but instead go for consistency and have dyed leather dog armour and also equip other armour like diamond or gold

    Also, they could have a feature like Allays, where they can hold stuff for you, and if you throw and item like a snowball, they can catch it and bring it back to you.
