Llama caravans are kinda frustrating because when you have one llama on a leash it makes all the other llamas freak out. I think we should be able to manage our caravans better, starting with adding and removing llamas from the caravan individually. It would work with these conditions:
Only tamed llamas can be added to the caravan
It is annoying leading my caravan and every other wild llama in the savanna freaks out and tries to join. Untrained llamas should just ignore the player and the caravan.
Leashed llamas are always the head of the caravan
If there are 3 llamas tethered to a fence, they should be treated as 3 separate caravans. Right now, the other two llamas will break their necks trying to run to their spot in the caravan. To add them to your caravan, unleash it to disband their current caravan and then you can add it to yours.
Add llamas to your caravan
You can now create a new caravan by leashing a llama. While you're leading a caravan, you can go up to other tamed llamas and add them to the back, like how you can make a dog stand so it starts following you.
Llamas from the caravan can be removed individually
You can release any llama (except the head) from its caravan any time, like how you can make a dog sit so it stops following you. The head llama is different because its the leashed llama. If you unleash the head llama it will disband the entire caravan.
You can pick up a leash without it breaking
So you can untether a caravan from a fence without disbanding it.
