Have you ever been in a situation where you died and your inventory contents were dropped far from your base or somewhere you can't get to without risking your life? Well, wish no more! My idea is a container block like mob called a Chester. This mob is a new pet that can spawn naturally in villages, but also be made from placing a chest on top of a crafting table. This new pet will look like a chest with 4 legs on each corner, a stick tail, 2 eyes on the sides of the chest head, and the lid of the chest is its mouth. The lock is its nose and will have the sounds of a dog. It will follow you anywhere you go unless told to sit by sneaking and right clicking, where its legs will retract into its head. You can open the GUI of the Chester by right clicking without sneaking. You can then put any items in its inventory. It will have 27 slots to match your inventory, but it can hold 27 times 4 more items than your inventory. When you die, it will eat up your items you drop, then teleport back to your spawn point, where you can safely retrieve them. This mob will have 7 hearts of health (14 health points). If Mojang adds this, the days of struggling to retrieve your items after you die will be a thing of the past.
