Papyrus was a plant that was in Ancient Egypt that grew in the Nile. It was used for rope, scrolls, carpets, mats, fish traps, and more. It can grow and thrive through deserts where there's water. Papyrus is collected by the scribe (a new villager profession that makes scrolls with cuneiform writing). Papyrus can be used for medicine (used by the cleric) and the priest can make a special healing paste with it. Papyrus can be harvested and bundled by rope. Papyrus can be edible and provides possibilities for native meals from the desert like papyrus stew, sweetened papyrus, and more. Cob can be made w/ clay, water, and papyrus, which will provide good adobe for builds. You can use papyrus and leather to make a quiver for arrows. This useful plant is good for Minecraft because it provides lots of resources, like the mooshroom. And the desert has a native plant only in the desert.
