Large flooded quarry structures in the overworld, like circular ravines

I'm envisioning something like the quarry scene from "The Blunder Years" episode of The Simpsons.

Basically a flooded large hole full of various stone types in the overworld. Probably surrounded by somewhat of a sharp cliff, similar to the walls of ravines.
