Spiders haven't gotten love for a very long time, and since spiders fit the caves I thought it would be a good idea to give them a little love.
Spiders should be able to climb walls like a real spider instead of just awkwardly floating up a wall and should have 2 new variants. The Orb weaver spider and the Mother spider
Orb weaver spiders would spawn in any cave and they will try and shoot balls of webbing at the player to try and get them stuck, similar to how spiders work in Minecraft dungeons. Orb weaver spiders would be the same size as a normal spider, but they would have longer abdomens and would have a bright yellow / black pattern on them white a dark gray head.
Mother spiders would be a giant version of normal spiders but would spawn little baby spiders next to them sometimes which after 5 minutes grow into normal spiders, Mother spider abdomens would be large and their colors could be a bright red. This spider variant is the only spider that cannot crawl on ceilings or walls because of their weight.
And lastly, a spider nest could be added with these weird looking blocks from Minecraft dungeons
