I love the concept of The Warden. I think it's one of the coolest ideas minecraft had in a long time.
The deb team had already said that they wanted this mob to be like a natural disaster, a mob so powerful that you shouldn't even try to kill it. My idea is that The Warden should be straight up the first unkillable mob in minecraft.
And I know what you're going to say, I don't want that!! I want the Warden to drop something, a trophy at the very least!!
And I agree, I too want The Warden to droop something, so I came out with this:
What if The Warden had some king of "down" state?
Maybe if you make enough damage you could knock him out for a little while, and in doing so you could get an achivement and some kind of trophy as a reward, maybe one of the souls that it has inside its chest?
This way, you could make it a mob that you are not encourage to kill for anything useful, keeping the kind of gameplay that the debs are aiming for, and at the same time, you make it possible for the player to gain a reward for knocking down such an terrible monster.
So, What do you guys say? Do you think itbe a good idea?
