Inventory Display Interface that Doesn't Take Up Entire Screen

I play with my family members on a single Xbox One. The current display interface when a person opens their inventory or interacts with the Blacksmith or one of the Shopkeepers is that the entire display/TV is filled with the display interface, making it impossible for the other members to keep playing Minecraft Dungeons.
 
This is tricky when fighting enemies in a local party. If someone wants to open their inventory to quickly change out their gear, the rest of the party is unable to keep fighting enemies. It would also be nice if everyone in the party could keep doing their own thing in the camp instead of having to wait for a person to finish managing their inventory or interacting with the blacksmith/shopkeeper. Let us continue playing in parallel even if someone has their inventory/shop screen up!

    I agree! At least having simultaneous inventory management of both players would be nice.

    This would be super useful in local multiplayer. It can be annoying and even fatal (in-game) if this doesn't change. Maybe it should be a split screen or something?
