Leather boots prevent/lessen vibration

I’ve seen a few ideas on the topic of vibrations and boots such as adding wool boots (effectively socks) to lessen vibrations but instead maybe give leather boots an alternate purpose maybe not entirely masking vibrations but lessening the radius of their vibrations and increasing the radius of other pairs of boots. This would give the leather boots a new purpose!

  This is a great idea as if would give leather boots more of a purpose and make caves more interesting, and as leather is generally harder to get than iron, so giving them a purpose and a trade-off would be good
