my idea is a dragon that has a 5% chance of spawning in stalagtite caves and drops from the ceiling when you come 40 blocks or closer. this dragon is not hostile unless you attack it. he is gray and somewhat smaller than the ender dragon. you can tame this dragon by feeding it zombie skulls, true, it's not cheap to tame it but if you do, it can be ridden in caves or during the night. this mob will burn if you take it out into the sun it will burn and turn hostile on you and bite you to DEATH. dun dun DUUUUUUUUUN.
