I’ve played against the ender dragon a few times now, and defeating it feels quite rewarding, but I feel like when you summon him back the only difference is the new cutscene. What if you updated the ender dragon resurrection boss fight to make it so that after you summon it, it’s more prepared. It feels like you’ve become so much more advanced than the last ender dragon boss fight, and the battle is too easy, so what if it’s also grown since it was first defeated. How about it knocks you back into the over world, and raises the stronghold out of the ground, revealing its true form, a large black pyramid. Then the dragon kicks you out of the stronghold, and changes the area around it to look like the end is leaking into the over world. It then summons a horde of ender men to defend the temple. If the player works his way back to the portal then he will be confronted by some mini boss who defends the portal. Defeat the mini boss and the portal will open up. Finally the player is confronted with a more advanced version of the original ender dragon boss, and upon defeating it, the player is rewarded with some sort of trophy. Feel free to close up some of the gaps and edit, but maybe this could be the ender dragon resurrection boss fight
