Been a while since this was posted, but it really does feel like the devs don't playtest the updates.

Take 1.16.20 for example. Minecraft was almost unplayable on Switch due to the game constantly freezing. The entire console would freeze up when trying to exit out. I had to restart my Switch several times in a day.

It was a huge blatant bug that shouldn't have existed in the first place. If the update was playtested then surely such a massive issue would've been noticed. And then when you look at Java, barely any bugs are game breaking.

Minecraft developers should playtest new updates on every version to make sure everything is perfect.

Honestly this is a good idea.

My agreement is due to how many issues the team has made in C++ that even fixes for it won't do much, and Java sitting right there working perfectly as it should. Honestly if they took a bit of time to test it a bit, there's a chance of it working more better.

1.19 is completely unplayable on iOS. It seems like there is no QA.
