Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Lava lilypads (warped lilypad)

A block for you to place under yourself to traverse lava.


People already do this a lot with water, in many different ways too.
They either place regular blocks under themselves while sprint-jumping across one-block-deep water,
or they place lilypads to get across deeper lakes.

Placing regular blocks in lava (while sprintjumping) isn't really possible since you can't see how deep it is, so it'd only be natural for there to be some kind of block which you can place on top of  lava similarly to how you can place lilypads on water.
They could generate in the lava around warped forests, making them blue and easy to see on the lava.

To make them more unique, they could also be bouncy like slimeblocks, allowing more skilled players to MLG lavalily-jump back onto a ledge.

For the name I'd pick "warped lilypad", but call it whatever you want.

    There should also be Crimson Lilypads.  A cool thing about regular lilypads is that they don't break if their water block freezes into ice.  This means that lava lilypads should be placeable on Stone, Cobblestone, and Obsidian.
