A new freezing mechanic for inventory

An idea that would be good to see in Minecraft 1.17:

The snow powder block sinks the players under it and in the interface you can see a 
freeze on the edges, it would be nice if the snow also freezes your main inventory! (save selected space)
Leaving without the possibility of changing tools and having to use what you have in the 
selected space
This mechanic will not allow players to choose the material they want to escape and something 
similar could happen like the portal to the nether where the inventory cannot be opened

  I was thinking of something a bit different, where frozen items in the inventory can melt and disappear
