Custom skins

i want to be able to use my self made skin on switch and other consoles too just like it works in pc.the skin creator is very limited and the monetization feels like you removed the ability to make my own skin and then you added it back in but now it costs a ton of money.i usually love the honest and down to earth approach mojang has but this just feels like a scam for console players

    You can, if you go into a file explorer app on the console and import a custom skin pack into the com.mojang folder. It is painful and there should be a better way.

    I agree, mobile users can also use self made skins. I got a skin I would rather use then these build a bear skins that doesn't work properly on servers.

    I play on PS5. I am disappointed that I cannot get custom skins. Please can you allow custom skins from Skindex on PS5 as I cant upload them right now.

    This would be an amazing addition to Minecraft as I feel like Console keeps getting left out while PC players get to customize everything. Maybe a transfer tool with Mobile and PC between the Console ports would work.

    If Mojang want‘s to be a community centred game developer they should do the right thing and give us a true custom skin creator or allow us to import skins into the game.
    Currently it seems as if they just want to make money from their poorly monitored market place which is full of cash grabs. Micro-transactions are not consumer friendly as they give the buyer the feeling they aren’t spending as much as they are yet they still allow it on their game played mostly by kids. 
    Minecraft advertised itself as a game made of blocks „where the only limit is your imagination“ so if this is true why do you intentionally limit console players when creating their own skins? Only giving them a pre made selection of options to „customise your skin“ when it’s long been possible for platforms to make skins without such limits?

    I feel like mojang has become a communist style company telling people what their identity should be, by taking away their freedom of SELF expression. And then continuously belittling the community by telling us they have given us the tools to express ourselves. Your character creator is missing character creation.

    I just got MC Dungeons for my Switch and was disappointed to see I couldn't import my MC skin into Dungeons - please make this possible on the Switch! Thanks

    There should be a way that people who have minecraft on mobile and on PlayStation should be able to transfer their custom skins from their phones to the PlayStation

    I think that they could implement a way that you can upload a custom skin from PC or mobile to the Xbox app or Minecraft website that can work with your account and sync across devices letting players have more creativity and adding more player expression

    I have been trying to find a round about way to add custom skins to my switch (And I have worked hard on these skins) and I cant find a way, I was contemplating just making my own skin pack and doing it that way. Help T^T

    I agree that Minecraft should do this for console, how come Mobile and PC can have custom skins, but console has no way of doing it
